Gardening Club

This club is being run by Mrs Drage and Mrs Price, who have a passion about animals and the environment. It is advisable that the children bring a pair of wellies and a change of clothes as they might get a bit muddy sometimes. This ensures that it doesn't matter if they get a bit grubby and can enjoy themselves all the more.

The club will be involved in a lot of activities. Some being: weeding the raised beds; using bark as a weed suppressant; painting the new fence to the sensory area; planting, making and creating items for the new sensory area; creating bug homes and helping create environmentally friendly areas for wildlife. The club is also hoping to go down to the wooded area near the school and do some investigation into habitats and finding out about some of the plants and trees in the area. They might even bring some bits back to create some art work.  It all seems very exciting and Mrs Drage is looking forward to her team and herself getting stuck in!

Great gardening helpers in the Autumn term
