Babylon

Babylon Class have had a busy start to this academic year but we are managing as much fun as possible through our learning too. This week we have enjoyed our third Gamelan music lesson and a lively Oracy discussion. We ran our own Science lesson connected to colour: as you can see from the photos below, we had a very good time.

Gamelan

Oracy

Welcome to Babylon class ( often known by the class as 'Team Thompson'). We have made a fantastic start already to our new school year together including pretending we were characters from our core text 'Street Child' and performing a 'freeze frame' of a dramatic scene ( some images below) and also pretending to be scientists sharing information on a children's TV programme.

This week we are looking forward to our traditional 'It's a Knockout' competition- a day which often ends up with the majority of children getting rather soggy.

We have included on the Long Term Plan for the term- see below- some early dates for your diary. We are unable yet to confirm when the planned trip to Morwellham Quay will take place.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me: carinthompson@sbfs.plymouth.sch.uk or pop in to the classroom at the end of the day.

Many thanks

Mrs Thompson
