On Monday 21st September, please send your child to school in their uniform rather than PE kit due to school photos in the morning.
It is our tradition, here at St Budeaux Foundation, to welcome our new Year 3 children with a collective worship celebration. Here they receive their Bibles, which stay with them throughout their time here, and ring the school bell.
This year, due to the current restrictions, we are unable to do this in the usual way. We are still going to have a collective worship for the children, but this will be done one class at a time and the rest of the school will not be there. Sadly, we cannot invite you in to attend this, but we are going to stream it via Zoom so you can be there virtually. This will be on Wednesday 9th September, 9am for Bethlehem Class and 10am for Eden Class. You will be able to watch the children receive their school Bible.
In order for the children to be able to ring the bell, and to give you the opportunity to take a photograph of this, we plan to do it near to the end of the day on Wednesday 9th September. We ask you to come to the main entrance to collect your children (2:30 for Bethlehem Class and 3:10 for Eden Class) and line up on the socially distanced markings, the children will then come out and join you. Then, in turn, each child will come up and ring the bell.
